Self-care is a daily practice. Something that most of us are guilty of is that we treat self-care as some kind of reward and not as a part of our daily routine. It's not like you need a reason to show love and affection to yourself. Establish self-care as a habit of your daily ritual by practicing one of the following self-care gestures each day.

The only “like” you need is your own

Do you use social media to share your creativity with the world or do you search for recognition in the eyes of others?
Do you love yourself or do you ask to be loved?
Which one is the right answer? Don't we seek both? Is it wrong to feel that way?
The more I think of these questions, the trickier they get.

It's in our nature as social beings to want to feel loved, respected, admired. But does it really matter how many "likes" you get when you don't love yourself?
I can think of only one answer and that is NO.
No number can replace the value of your own "like".
